awesome-mbse
Hub for cross-cutting MBSE methods, tools, models, Magic Grid / Cameo. Status: Live (this repo).
Model-based systems engineering: SysML, methods, tools, openable models, and Magic Grid practice.
Built for the practitioner hunting a real, openable model to learn from or copy, and for anyone who wants one trustworthy starting point for SysML/MBSE. Every link is checked; dead links are pruned; each entry is dated and tagged.
Nothing to install: read the list here or clone the repository. It is a single README.md with no build step. Skim a section, follow the dated links, and start from an entry that matches your tool and year; to cite the list use CITATION.cff.
This repo is the hub of a family of lists; the registry and family rules live in FAMILY.md. Snapshot 2026-09-28, not a permanent census.

The flagship. Magic Grid is the SysML modeling method developed at No Magic (now Dassault Systèmes) and applied in Cameo Systems Modeler / CATIA Magic: a grid of problem/solution domains × structure/behaviour/requirements/parametrics that tells you what to model next. New here? Start with the MagicGrid Book of Knowledge, then open a real model from the Model Gallery. This is the deepest part of the list and the one no other awesome-list covers.

Why this list exists, with evidence (gathered 2026-06): existing SysML/SE awesome-lists are either abandoned, narrow, or carry no Cameo / Magic Grid coverage. No actively maintained awesome-mbse with this breadth existed before this list. The awesome-stpa namespace was re-checked empty on 2026-09-17; remaining planned niches are re-checked on each create day.
